In Times Like These (Minister Watson)

Stay in the Race Until the End (Elder Sparrow)

We are living in unprecedented times like no other.

· Where right is wrong and wrong is right

· Where the great US of America is fast collapsing

· Where our long-standing allies are now our enemies and our enemies are now our friends

How do we survive in times like these:

· Fear not!

§ The bible says fear not 365 times

§ Read the scriptures o

How do we survive in times like these:

· Fear not!

§ The bible says fear not 365 times

§ Read the scriptures on Fear

· Remind yourself of Eccl 1-9. There is nothing new under the sun. What has been will be again what has been done will be done again. If it happens now, it has happened before.

· Get back in your word to know what it says that will encourage you such as: Psalm 27:1, Psalm 23, Isaiah 41:30, Joshua 1:9

· Seek God in prayer so that he can begin to give you specific guidance for your situation

Start attending church again because when you are weak you are stronger--brothers or sisters can encourage you with their testimony.

Stay in the Race Until the End (Elder Sparrow)

· The victory of the cross was clear and concise. Jesus left no stone unturned. He did everything that God purposed Him to do. Everything that Jesus told the disciples about His dying on the cross happened just the way He said it. Jesus told the naysayers that in three days He would rebuild the temple and He did it! We are not imprison

· Stay in the race until the end and don’t be naïve. Difficult times are here. Don’t sit on your hands. Don’t stroll. Keep each other strong. One Lord. One Faith. One Baptism.

· We are all called to travel the same road, going in the same direction.

· Paul’s letter to Timothy: Paul was grateful but when you surrender, it is not going to be a walk in the park.

· CRITERIA: REQUIREMENTS: Be Holy (not an option), Be a witness of truth.

· How purposeful is your salvation? Do the work of the One who called you. Stir up the gift that is within you. Get your mind right. INVEST in the Gospel. Take the time to know the Truth. Be diligent in sharing the Word (the integrity of the Word can stand by itself). Shine your light.

· This is why Paul was lobbying so hard for the saints to hold on to the Gospel. Harder times are ahead in this world, but only an anchored heart in Christ will survive it. According to Deut. 7:9, it states, Now therefore, now that the Lord your God is God. He is the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. He is the Great I am!

· Remember: God is looking for strong witnesses. We have the authority to speak. We are His vessels. Be Holy. Be purposeful. Rely on the preaching/teaching of the Gospel. Stand for Jesus. Get ready for sacrifice/suffering. Our victory is in the Lord. Hold fast. Don’t do impulsive stuff. Endure. Run the race. Finish the race. God keeps covenant with us [Deuteronomy 7: 9]. We’re in hard/difficult times. “…going to heaven, anyhow” -NOT. We’ve got to BE READY! We’re in the last quarter. God is calling the shots. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.

· May the Peace of God that surpasses our understanding keep your heart and mine, grounded and encouraged. Our soon coming King has our reward with Him. Blessings!

· What you CANNOT DO is Depend on Yourself: David relied on his relationship with the Lord

· Self Reliance-Self Assured-Self Made, Self Pity-Self Depraved

· Read Proverb 3:5-8

· The Hebrew word for TRUST means to lie down on--to put your entire weight on something. When you go to sleep, you lie down on your bed because you believe it is strong enough to hold you. With “all your heart” means entirely, without exception. So…in essence God says, “trust Me completely; I can sustain you. Your own understanding won’t support you”

· In ALL Your Ways Know Him - This Covers Anything Having to do with My (Your) Life

· The Ultimate Goal is to Please God Our Father In All Things

· Consult The Word Of God - Hebrews 4:12…The Word Can Transform All Of You!!!!

· Remember! We Are in a Spiritual Warfare--Ephesians 6

· You Must Settle this within Yourself: I AM REDEEMED BY HIS REDEEMING LOVE!!!
